Eating out at Penshurst Place

The Garden Tea Room

We especially enjoyed a wonderful lunch in your café, agreeing that the meal wouldn't have been out of place in an upmarket restaurant.''

Set within the Formal Gardens, close to the house entrance, the beautifully refurbished Garden Tea Room is open daily during the full season from 10.30am to 5.00pm. Lunch is available from 12 noon - 3pm.

Seating is both inside and on the terrace to the front, facing the Gardens and House. There is a wheeled access route to the inside. See the Map of the Grounds for location.

Serving morning teas and coffee, a daily menu of hot and cold lunches including deli sandwiches, delicious cakes, Penshurst Place Cream Teas and a very special Penshurst Place High Tea.

Our Tea Room is self service and also a licensed premises, with wine and beer available.

Normal garden admission prices apply to visit the Tea Room - or why not become a garden season ticket holder and visit as often as you like throughout the season
