The Place to Eat

Penshurst Place & Gardens can offer a superb morning refreshments, lunchtime and afternoon tea options to our group visitors all year.

Our Garden Restaurant is open throughout the visitor season and serving a selection of hot and cold home-cooked style menus as well as a carvery on some days. They also serve wonderful afternoon cream teas and Penshurst Place High Teas.

We recommend you prebook our group menus which are listed in our Group Booking Form. Your tables will then be reserved and your meal served at your tables.

Our Restaurant also has a variety of daily self-service lunchtime menus. Just let us know you will be staying for lunch on your booking form.

Our new Porcupine Pantry café seats up to 40 inside and is open daily all year. Located at the visitor entrance and close to the coach parking it serves light refreshments, lunches and a selection of cakes and pastries. We recommend you book in advance as space is limited.
