2012 Maize Maze from the air

Our popular Maize Maze opens with a new exciting medieval theme from Saturday 20 July 2013 (correct growing conditions permitting).


Get yourselves lost in a field of maize - lots of eco-fun for all the family! It was one of the Thisiskent top 10 things to do in Kent!

This aMAZING entertainment, designed for us by Mazescape, opens for the school summer holidays. Like our Facebook page or follow us on Twitter to find out what the theme will be in 2013. (see bottom of page for links)


Opening times: Daily from Saturday 20th July to Monday 2nd September and then during Craft Show Friday 6th - Sunday 8th September 2013 with the last weekend 14th -15th September (weather and crop conditions permitting). 10.30am - last entrance 5pm or an hour before closing. There will also be storytelling in the Maze on Sundays from 28 July - August Bank Holiday from 2-4pm.


Accessed via our main visitor entrance and located behind the adventure playground and through the Woodland Trail. Follow yellow signs.


Entrance prices: You will need a valid garden and grounds ticket to visit the maze which will be free to visit for full paying garden ticket holders and Penshurst Place season ticket holders. See our opening times and prices page for details.

For those with other tickets, vouchers or membership cardholders of other organisations, there will be a small additional charge of £2 per adult, £1 per child
per maze visit.


All children to be accompanied by an adult in the maize maze. But adults need not be accompanied by children!
