For Families

We have something to offer all the family with the recreation of historic events, storytelling, craft activities, seasonal children's garden trails around the gardens, our Maize Maze in the summer holidays and nearly seven centuries of history, all in one place.

Our traditional Adventure Playground, with chickens to feed, and the Woodland Trail provide a fun environment for your children to let off steam, while you spend time with your friends and family. Open until 6pm during the main visitor season.

Free copies of our children's Woodland Trail quiz sheet are available at our Visitor Entrance.
