As a visitor to Penshurst Place & Gardens, you can take a walk out across Lake Park and head towards Lancup Well. It looks much as it did in the Kip and Virtue engravings of the 18th Century.

Meander along the mown paths which we have recreated with fine views back up to the House. This area is also a haven for wildlife.

Please note: this area of the grounds is only open to ticket holders, and is sometimes closed for special events such as the Craft Show in May and September.

We regret dogs are not allowed in the grounds of Penshurst Place except guide dogs and hearing assistance dogs.
