Weald of Kent Country Craft Show

4th May - 6th May from 10.00am - 5.00pm

The Weald of Kent Country Craft Show is located in our parkland, outside of the main house and gardens.  Visit for more information and to pre-book your tickets.

Joined by exciting displays, shows, and live music, the Weald of Kent Country Craft Show offers so much more than just lovingly made goodies. With marquees to explore, food to sample and rustic crafts to have a go at, as well as access to the Adventure Playground, the Craft Show is a great day out for all the family.

Penshurst Place May Wedding Fair

19th May from 11.00am - 3.00pm

Our May Wedding Fair will be hosted in partnership with wedding specialists Wedding Day Angel on the 19th May from 11am to 3pm.

Join our dedicated weddings team, on-site dining partners and a collection of local weddings suppliers at our biggest Wedding Fair of the year and discover our medieval and Elizabethan venue with a glass of bubbly in-hand. With attending suppliers ranging from photographers to florists, toastmasters to make up artists, our May Open Day is the perfect place to source inspiration for your own big day. Entrance to the fair is absolutely free with only one ticket required for you and your guests.

Crafts: 11am - 4pm in The Old Coach House

The great explorers of the last millennium achieved a great deal with a varying selection of technology and knowledge. This Spring Holiday we’ll be celebrating the history of great travel, with a collection of hidden travel treasures for you to find in the Formal Gardens! To keep the inspiration alive when you get home, we’ll be rewarding every child's completed trail sheet with a What On Earth? Book to take home!*

Bushcraft Bank Holiday

25th May - 26th May from 10.30am - 6.00pm

Settle in beneath the yurt and learn invaluable skills to make your camping adventure truly magnificent! Whether it be how to cook campfire meals scrumptious enough to give the tin of beans a shove, how to whittle and build your own equipment, or even the best knots to use, the experts at Camp Wilderness will show you how!

Mini-Beast Hunts!

26th May - 27th May from 11.00am - 5.00pm

Discover the mini beats that live with the walls of our formal gardens with a hands-on masterclass with the Kent Wildlife Trust, who’ll teach you the best places to find our wonderful native species of beetles, bugs and insects, and how to attract more wildlife to your own gardens!
