A Season of Shakespeare Outdoor Theatre: Much Ado About Nothing

Enjoy an evening of theatre at Penshurst Place and Gardens this summer, in partnership with Facsimile Productions who will be returning to Penshurst Place for the third year, performing Much Ado About Nothing.

Doors will open at 5.30pm after we have closed to the general public, when you will be able to enjoy a private wander through the gardens and the opportunity to purchase a drink from our bar, before it's curtains up at 7pm. Picnics are also permitted.

We will not be providing seating so please bring along folding chairs or a picnic blanket to sit on as well as suitable clothes and perhaps a blanket or two!

Performances last two hours excluding a brief intermission. 

 

Volks Weald

Now in its fifth year at the Penshurst Place Parkland, the Volks Weald family Volkswagen Show is an ever-popular staple on the Penshurst Place calendar. Catering for both motor-enthusiasts and family visitors it is a great day out for all ages with crafts and activities for children running alongside live music, a dog show and lots more!

Enjoy an evening of theatre at Penshurst Place and Gardens this summer, in partnership with Changeling Theatre who will be returning to Penshurst Place for a performance of Love's Labour's Lost.

Doors will open at 5.30pm after we have closed to the general public, when you will be able to enjoy a private wander through the gardens and the opportunity to purchase a drink from our bar, before it's curtains up at 7pm. Picnics are also permitted.

Summer Saturday Crafts

22nd Jul - 2nd Sep from 11.30am - 3.30pm

Each Saturday during the Summer Holidays we'll be opening up our Craft Barn for children to come in and let their creative juices flow as they make and create a collection of crafts and colouring to take home. 

Crafts are included in all admission types for Penshurst Place

Saturday Falconry Shows

22nd Jul - 2nd Sep from 11.00am

Shows at 11am, 2pm and 4pm

From overhead owls, to high-flying hawks and lots of characters in between, join Joe's Bows each Saturday during the summer holidays and enjoy amazing aerial displays performed by a collection of majestic birds of prey. 

Falconry shows are included within all admission types to Penshurst Place

Sunday Garden Stories

23rd Jul - 3rd Sep from 11.15am

Shows at 11.15am, 12.15pm, 2.15pm, & 4.15pm

Each Sunday during the Summer Holidays you can join a special collection of characters in the Stage Garden as they take you on an interactive story adventure through the garden rooms! Ideal for children of all ages (and adults too!) 

Storytelling included in all admission types for Penshurst Place

Wilderness Wednesdays

26th Jul - 30th Aug from 10.00am

Have a go at axe-throwing, archery and even smores making every Wednesday during the Summer Holidays with camp Wilderness, who will be pitching up along the Woodland Walk ready to help you face your wild side! 

Camp Wilderness activities are included within all admission types to Penshurst Place, ideally suited for children aged 8 and over, but this is at the discretion of parents/ guardians
