Volks Weald, the family-friendly classic VW Show, is back in the Penshurst Place parkland this July! Visit and see some beautiful cars, enjoy live music, plentiful family-friendly entertainment, and of course, the inflatable pub.

A Summer of Adventure Awaits at Penshurst Place

With a calendar of events to enjoy across the school summer holiday, there's something to enjoy EVERY DAY at Penshurst Place and Gardens!

Camp Wilderness Wednesdays - Every Wednesday from 22nd July - 26th August (Plus 30th & 31st August)

• Make some smores
• Axe-throwing
• Archery

PLUS camouflage and concealment games at 12pm and 2.30pm!

Where Could They Bee? - Garden trail to enjoy every day from 22nd July - 31st August

Get lost in nature and find the hidden (but larger than life!) bees hidden throughout the gardens. Pick up a trail sheet from the visitor entrance to take part

Crafts to Make and Take Home - Every Thursday and Tuesday from 23rd July - 27th August

Step into The Old Coach House from 11.00am - 3.30pm and make some incredible animal or sport-themed crafts to take home

NEW Safari Saturdays - Every Saturday from 25th July - 29th August

New for summer 2026, Wild Safari Saturdays brings dinosaurs, animals and the natural world to life through a series of interactive live performances and family challenges!

The Hunt For Penshurst's Treasure - Every Sunday from 26th July - 30th August

Our much-loved garden storytellers return for a magical Treasure Island story, but this time, the goal is much closer to home!

Wine & Wander Evening with Squerryes Vineyard

Thursday 24th July | Pre-book tickets | £18 | Doors open from 5:30pm 

Hazy sunlight, beautiful gardens, chinking glasses of deliciously cool wine - sound like your kind of evening?

Settle in for a relaxed evening of wine sipping this summer at Penshurst Place and Gardens, for our first ever Wine & Wander event with the Squerryes Estate.

Your tickets include a welcome glass of  Squerryes Classic 2022 Brut (or alcohol-free alternative) and an exciting talk by Squerryes Vineyard about how the Warde family came to be a top producer of English sparkling wine.

Squerryes Vineyard will be selling wine by the glass and bottle for the remainder of the evening for you to enjoy as you wander the gardens, or to take home with you afterwards. Squerryes Vineyard will also be providing non-alcoholic drinks.

Please note no food will be available, but you are welcome to bring along a picnic. Alcoholic beverages cannot be bought in and must be purchased from the bar. This is an adults-only event and all guests must be aged 18 or over.
