Our Mini Panto is back for 2026!

Our great value alternative to longer, more formal pantos is designed for families who want to experience the magic of a traditional panto, who may not want to stay sat still for that long!

Gather at the Penshurst Place Mini Panto this year and discover her plan to scupper Christmas by causing a cavity calamity! Can Mother Christmas and Father Christmas intercept this dastardly dentistry before it’s too late?

Wealden Times Pop-Up Fair

11th Sep from 10.00am - 4.00pm

One Day Only Friday 11th September, 10am – 4pm | Tickets must be pre-booked | This is a third party event of which Penshurst Place and Gardens is the host, but not the organiser

Penshurst Place will be hosting the Wealden Fair for the second time this year for an autumn pop-up fair. Book your tickets with the Wealden Fair, which include access to the House and Gardens, and enjoy browsing 33 stalls of hand-picked goodies across ranges including fashion, jewellery, homeware, gifts and more.

Tudor Re-enactment Weekend

12th Sep - 13th Sep from 10.00am - 5.00pm

Included in admission | Characters provided by The Companye of Merrie Folke

It’s 1528 and Henry VIII is enjoying the hunting bounties of his recently acquired Penshurst Place Estate. During this weekend speak to his staff and gentry who will be setting up camp in the Picnic Area, see Tudor workers in action and enjoy talks and entertainment by some intriguing characters!

At a Glance

  • The Characters are provided by the Companye of Merrie Folke who you may recognise from other historical attractions
  • There will be around 15 - 20 characters to see and speak to, including a barber surgeon, plague charm maker and scribe! 
  • Henry VIII will not be joining us, as he'll be off hunting on the Penshurst Place Estate
  • This is a fantastic way to interact with Tudor history in a calm environment, there's no jousting or loud Tudor games.
